Brick Reservoir Review: Outdoor fun for everyone
Earlier this week, I talked about working out in the great outdoors, instead of in a gym. Therefore, I have to fill you in on the best outdoor place to walk or jog in central New Jersey. The Brick Reservoir is the perfect place to get your exercise on. It’s a 1.6 mile loop around crystal clear water.
It’s a great for place everyone. I bring my little one and my dogs – they both love it. Here they are chilling at one of the observations decks.
The reservoir features an absolutely beautiful walking or jogging path with gazebos scattered along the way, so you can take a break and enjoy the cool breeze.
Plus, its free and you can’t beat that my frugal friends!

What a beautiful and refreshing find! I am a huge proponent of working out outdoors as many months out of the year as possible. We need the sunshine, the fresh air, and can save on those monthly gym fees!
Just stopping by to say hi. I was looking at the MamaBlog board at Babycenter and re-found your link. I was already following though.
That park looks really nice! We don’t have anything that nice here in W. Texas. And no bodies of water to speak of.
Sorry to hear that – I’m sure you have great hiking trails though! Thanks for stopping by
So beautiful! Do people go swimming/kayaking there? I know a small town where people do that in their reservoir.
No, people don’t go swimming in this reservoir, but there’s one not too far from here (Manasquan Reservoir) that people swim in and kayak in. I’ve been kayaking there a couple times. It’s really fun! Thanks for stopping by
